As someone who cares about wildlife, you can play an integral role in helping us leave a wildlife legacy for future generations.
None of us wants to contemplate our own mortality, but to ensure that our heirs receive what is rightfully theirs, and that organizations that we care about are remembered, it is essential to have a will and other estate planning instruments in place now. By using planning techniques, it is possible to make a significant gift tomorrow while receiving great personal benefits today. These benefits include: receiving a charitable deduction, avoiding capital gains taxes, reducing estate taxes and increasing your cash flow.
Over the years, New Mexico Wildlife Center has been the beneficiary of several planned gifts. These gifts did not come just from wealthy individuals, but from average people with children, grandchildren, a home and a few additional assets. These bequests have been essential to the success and longevity of New Mexico Wildlife Center and are critically important to our future. In an effort to recognize individuals now, for their future gifts, New Mexico Wildlife Center has established The Pat Insley Legacy Society. This special group, named in honor of Pat Insley, a longtime volunteer, donor and friend, is open to anyone who names New Mexico Wildlife Center as a beneficiary in his or her will, charitable remainder trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan or other planning tool. Members will be invited to special events and listed in our annual reports.
Allow us to show our deep appreciation for your generosity by informing us of your decision to include New Mexico Wildlife Center in your estate plans, even if you wish to keep the details of your plan confidential or your gift anonymous. If you would like more information, please contact Cheryl Bell at 505-753-9505 or Cheryl@newmexicowildlifecenter.org.
Should you wish to include New Mexico Wildlife Center in your estate plans, we urge you to seek the advice of your tax advisor, attorney, and/or financial planner to make certain a contemplated gift fits well into your overall circumstances and planning.
