Master Gardener’s Workshop — Keyhole Gardens

First introduced into arid African regions, keyhole gardens are an efficient, space-saving way to plant a garden using nutrient-recycling and waste “up-cycling” during times of drought.

New Mexico Wildlife Center has teamed up with Andrea Fisher Fine Pottery and 24 other local not for profit organizations to celebrate their gallery’s 25th Anniversary! International Migratory Bird Day Celebration

Wild Walk Planting

Master Gardeners and participants plant native plants along the DePonte Family Wild Walk pathway.


Safe Snake Capture and Release Training
Saturday, May 19, 1 pm — 4 pm, $20 suggested donation, open to the public

Master snake handler, Tom Wyant, returns for this annual class to help New Mexicans learn about various snakes, how to safely capture them, and release them in appropriate ways. Adults only, please.
